About Us

F²X is a small, family-run excavation company serving the Wasatch Front.

Our specialties include development in small commercial projects and multi-family housing.

Daryl has managed many projects in his 30+ years in the excavation industry. Many of these projects have built his expertise, from his first project working on the causeway to Antelope Island to building five million gallon water tanks to the hundreds of foundations and basements to laying the infrastructure for new and growing communities.

Matt and Daryl first started working together in 1998, and have partnered together to manage all projects that F²X are involved in. Matt brings over 25 years of experience in equipment operations, leadership, and project management to F²X.
